About the Role
Pricepally is revolutionizing Africa's food distribution system by directly connecting farmers, manufacturers, and wholesalers to consumers through an innovative digital platform. We are looking for a dedicated Finance Officer to provide day-to-day support for accurate financial processing, record keeping, reconciliations, and internal control compliance in our Lagos office.
Key Responsibilities- Review payment requests, invoices, and receipts for completeness and post approved transactions accurately into the accounting system.
- Perform bank, cash, ledger, and vendor reconciliations while investigating and escalating discrepancies promptly.
- Monitor expenditures against approved budget lines and track staff or vendor advances and retirements.
- Ensure strict adherence to internal controls, segregation of duties, and compliance standards.
- Prepare supporting schedules for periodic financial reports and assist with internal and external audits.
- Maintain secure vendor records and uphold strict data confidentiality and anti-fraud procedures.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Up to 2 years of relevant finance, accounting, or internship experience, including completed NYSC.
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping, financial controls, and reconciliations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and familiarity with ERP or accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail, high integrity, and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Legally authorized to live and work in Nigeria.
