Beckley Consulting Limited is recruiting on behalf of our esteemed client, an established leader in Nigeria's oil and gas sector with over two decades of industry experience. We are looking for a dedicated and results-driven Finance Manager to join their dynamic team in Lekki, Lagos. In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in managing accounting operations, financial strategy, and ensuring robust fiscal governance for a company specializing in petroleum product supply, logistics, depot management, and haulage.
Key Responsibilities- Manage comprehensive accounting operations, including accurate invoicing and efficient receivables collection.
- Collaborate closely with the operations team to guarantee smooth, compliant, and transparent financial transactions.
- Develop and implement innovative financial strategies designed to optimize business performance and profitability.
- Analyse complex financial data to deliver actionable insights that inform high-level executive business decisions.
- Ensure strict compliance with statutory financial regulations, tax laws, and industry standards within the Nigerian oil and gas landscape.
- Possess a minimum of a Bachelor Degree (BSc / BA) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Must hold a mandatory Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) certification.
- Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of solid experience in accounting and financial management, with prior experience in the oil and gas industry strongly preferred.
- Possess strong, up-to-date knowledge of modern financial management and accounting principles.
- Display exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with high attention to detail.
- Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing modern accounting software and enterprise financial systems.
