About the Role
Cormart Nigeria Limited is a leading supplier of industrial chemicals and raw materials, serving key industries including construction, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, packaging, and cosmetics. Established in 1980, we proudly distribute world-class chemical brands while manufacturing our own line of premium industrial and consumer products. We are currently looking for a dynamic Finance Manager to act as a factory cost controller and fixed assets accountant, driving financial leadership, robust controls, and strategic budgeting support.
Key Responsibilities- Track daily operational costs across slaughtering, processing, packaging, and distribution to determine precise production cost per unit and order.
- Investigate discrepancies between standard and actual costs for materials, labor, and utilities.
- Partner with the Engineering Team on monthly energy and maintenance cost reviews.
- Collaborate with the Warehouse Team on inventory reconciliation, stock write-offs, and reporting matters.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly cost reports, gross margin analyses, SKU profitability, and landed cost calculations.
- Manage the sub-fixed asset register and oversee the end-to-end asset capitalization, depreciation, and disposal processes.
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders for asset verification and valuation exercises.
- Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA is a strong advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven finance experience, preferably within an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
- Strong expertise in manufacturing overheads, Bill of Materials (BOM), and product costing.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP and/or MS Nav 365, alongside advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
