About the Role
Elizabeth Maddeux Limited is a leading human resource and business solutions firm dedicated to empowering small and medium-scale enterprises across diverse industries, including fintech, manufacturing, and retail. We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Finance Manager to drive our financial operations and ensure robust fiscal health across our entire Nigerian business operations.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain stringent financial controls, adhere to company policies, and produce comprehensive monthly management reports.
- Manage statutory accounts, client invoicing, receivables, and review Group accounts alongside cost variances.
- Oversee accounts payable through accurate three-way matching, ensure timely payments without duplication, and lead the month-end close process.
- Supervise staff payroll administration and guarantee accurate computation and timely remittance of all employee taxes.
- Optimize fund management by preparing detailed cash flow projections, managing foreign exchange deals, and overseeing petty cash.
- Conduct timely bank reconciliations and track capital expenditure accurately across the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years of proven relevant experience in corporate accounting and financial management.
- Mandatory professional certification such as ICAN or ACCA.
- Advanced technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and MS Office suite.
- Thorough understanding and working knowledge of IFRS, VAT, Nigerian tax laws, and corporate negotiation.
