About the Role
Wertvoll Consulting Services, a premier hospitality consulting firm headquartered in Lekki, Lagos, is recruiting an Accountant for our esteemed client, South Merits Royal Hotels and Suites in Calabar, Cross River State. We are seeking a competent, experienced, and committed financial professional ready to contribute to exceptional hospitality service delivery and operational success.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare accurate financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.
- Reconcile bank accounts, monitor daily cash flow, and manage budgetary controls.
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax laws, statutory deductions, and financial regulations.
- Collaborate with management to implement internal financial controls and cost-saving measures.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional accounting certification (such as ACA, ACCA, or ongoing relevant progress) is a strong advantage.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of proven accounting experience, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical mindset, high attention to detail, and excellent integrity.
