We are looking for an astute financial professional to oversee our financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide strategic insights to support our continued growth in the Nigerian agricultural market.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the finance and accounting department, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow forecasts.
- Ensure full compliance with IFRS, Nigerian tax regulations, and other statutory financial requirements.
- Develop and implement robust internal financial controls, budgeting processes, and costing strategies.
- Conduct financial data analysis to provide actionable insights for executive decision-making and business growth.
- Manage banking relationships, monetary market engagements, and liquidity planning.
- Coordinate internal and external audit processes and resolve any financial discrepancies promptly.
- B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- M.Sc., ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification is strictly required.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within the agriculture, manufacturing, or export sectors.
- Strong expertise in IFRS, Nigerian tax laws, and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or enterprise ERP systems.
