About the Role
Hydrogen Payment Services Company Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Access Corporation, is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Finance Manager to join our fast-paced team in Nigeria. In this pivotal role, you will oversee general financial operations, spearhead budgeting and forecasting, and ensure strict compliance with financial regulations. You will collaborate closely with executive leadership to support our mission of building a seamless, end-to-end payment infrastructure across Africa.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee daily finance operations including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, payroll, and cash receipts.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in line with holding company standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal control policies and procedures to safeguard financial integrity.
- Lead comprehensive budgeting and forecasting processes in close collaboration with various department heads.
- Monitor cash flow, optimize working capital, and support essential treasury functions.
- Analyze financial data to identify operational trends, cost-saving opportunities, and efficiency improvements.
- Ensure full compliance with Nigerian tax laws, regulatory filings, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Act as a strategic finance business partner, delivering actionable performance insights to executive leadership.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to foster a culture of continuous professional growth.
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
- Master degree or professional certification such as ACA is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive finance or accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management capacity.
- Demonstrated experience within the fintech, banking, or payment services industry is highly desirable.
