About the Role
Africa CEO Club (ACC), an elite, invitation-only network of high-net-worth business founders, C-suite executives, and institutional investors across Africa and the global diaspora, is seeking a talented and meticulous Accountant to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. Led by Founder and President Fatumata Gay, our organization drives economic transformation by providing vital infrastructure, deal-making pipelines, and policy advocacy. We are looking for a dedicated finance professional who can maintain the highest standards of financial integrity while supporting our mission to scale business growth across the continent.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial variance analysis to support strategic decision-making by executive leadership.
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax laws, regulatory requirements, and internal financial policies.
- Process payroll accurately and manage employee expense reimbursements in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with external auditors and manage financial audits as required.
- Maintain robust financial records and documentation for all organizational transactions and investments.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional accounting certification (such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in accounting or financial management roles.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP).
- Deep understanding of Nigerian financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting standards.
- Exceptional analytical skills, high attention to detail, and absolute integrity in handling confidential financial data.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with C-level executives and international stakeholders.
