About the Role
Hydrogen Payment Services Company Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Access Corporation, is looking for a strategic and driven Finance Manager to lead our finance operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and regulatory compliance while partnering with leadership to accelerate our mission of building secure payment infrastructures across Africa.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily finance operations including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, payroll, and cash receipts.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal leadership and the holding company.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with department heads to align with strategic business objectives.
- Develop and maintain robust internal control policies and procedures to safeguard financial integrity.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and actionable opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency.
- Ensure strict compliance with financial regulations, tax filings, and statutory requirements in Nigeria.
- Collaborate with the CFO to formulate financial strategies supporting company growth and profitability.
- Monitor cash flow, optimize working capital, and oversee core treasury functions.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team within a culture of continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; a Master's degree or ACA professional certification is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management capacity.
- Demonstrated experience in the fintech, payment services, or financial sector is highly desirable.
