About the Role
Chairborne Global Services Limited is a multi-disciplinary company providing critical support services to the oil and gas industry in Nigeria and across Africa. Our capabilities cover marine logistics, security solutions, EPIC, dredging and reclamation, and offshore support services. We are currently looking for a strategic and analytical Finance Manager to lead our finance and accounts team, ensuring sound financial controls, accurate reporting, and optimal cash flow management to support our continued business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate the day-to-day financial and accounting activities of the organization.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management accounts.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, receivables, payables, and overall liquidity positions.
- Prepare and monitor annual budgets, periodic forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Develop and maintain effective financial controls to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate internal and external audit activities, liaising with tax consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities.
- Provide actionable financial analysis and strategic advice to Management on business decisions and cost optimization.
- Supervise, guide, and support the professional development of the Finance and Accounts team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent is strictly required.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant post-qualification experience, preferably within the oil and gas, marine, engineering, or structured corporate sectors.
- Practical knowledge of Nigerian tax regulations, statutory financial requirements, and IFRS.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
