We are currently looking for a diligent and experienced Boutique Accountant to join our finance team in Lagos and contribute to our continued operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with daily accounting, bookkeeping, and the proper documentation of financial transactions.
- Prepare, maintain, and update accurate financial records, reports, and statements.
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts efficiently and in compliance with company policies.
- Perform regular bank and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Support the finance team with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Assist in the preparation of corporate budgets and comprehensive financial statements.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders during audits and other finance-related tasks.
- B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- 3 to 4 years of relevant accounting and bookkeeping experience in a professional environment.
- Solid understanding of general accounting principles, Nigerian tax laws, and financial practices.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and popular accounting software packages.
- Strong numerical aptitude, analytical thinking, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team.
