About the Role
Total Data Limited, a leading full-service Internet Service Provider since 1994, is recruiting a strategic Finance Manager to join our executive management team. You will provide comprehensive financial leadership, drive operational efficiency, and ensure robust risk management across all financial activities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic financial direction and oversee all financial planning, implementation, and management activities
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering professional development and operational excellence
- Develop financial forecasts, manage budgets, and oversee comprehensive financial reporting
- Deliver strategic recommendations to the Managing Director, Management Team, and Board of Directors
- Monitor budget compliance and implement cost control measures aligned with company policies
- Ensure accurate and timely staff salary payments and client reimbursement reconciliation
- Manage statutory deductions, tax remittances, and compliance with Nigerian tax regulations
- Establish and maintain relationships with bankers, tax authorities, and external financial consultants
- Coordinate vendor payments and manage office asset registers
- Embed and oversee risk and compliance management frameworks
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (minimum requirement)
- Professional certifications such as MBA, ACA, or ACCA highly preferred
- Minimum 10 years' experience in finance industry with proven leadership credentials
- Expertise in IFRS standards, Nigerian tax regulations, and payroll systems
- Strong knowledge of PAYE statutory deductions and Service Level Agreements
- Advanced IT literacy and proficiency with accounting software
- Excellent analytical, communication, and people management skills
