In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring financial integrity, managing reconciliation and settlement activities, and providing robust revenue assurance for the organization. Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure daily reconciliation and posting of all transactions and provide accurate daily and weekly reconciliation and settlement reports.
  • Support the E-business team in promptly resolving settlement and reconciliation matters.
  • Monitor income and fees to ensure value is promptly transferred to the bank.
  • Verify incoming and outgoing payments on e-channel accounts and prepare regular reports on over or under-settlement.
  • Liaise regularly with bank account officers regarding direct debits, standing orders, unidentified credits, and charges.
  • Monitor deductions on loans and facilities with various banks, reconciling them against the terms and conditions of the offer.
  • Develop and maintain strong business relations with payment partners, settlement banks, and processing companies.
  • Handle the rendition of monthly returns and process associated payments for FIRS, LIRS, and PFAs within statutory deadlines.
  • Send comprehensive daily dashboard reports to management to aid in strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional accounting qualifications such as ICAN, ACCA, or CPA are highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive finance experience within the financial services or investment banking sector in Nigeria.
  • In-depth knowledge of Nigerian financial regulations, compliance standards, and risk management frameworks.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in enterprise financial software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Proven track record of operational excellence in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
