About the Role
Online Foodstuff Store Limited is a leading retail and supply chain company dedicated to making quality foodstuffs accessible and affordable across Nigeria. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Finance Manager to head our Finance Department. In this strategic role, you will oversee our financial operations, ensure robust financial controls, drive accurate reporting, and manage cash flow to support our continued expansion in the Nigerian market.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, manage, and mentor the finance team to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Oversee daily financial operations including payables, receivables, cash management, and reconciliations.
- Prepare and review accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Develop, monitor, and manage corporate budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Establish and strengthen internal financial controls, accounting processes, and risk management strategies.
- Ensure full compliance with Nigerian tax laws, statutory regulations, and accounting standards.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and resolve audit findings promptly.
- Provide executive management with actionable financial analysis and insights to guide business decisions.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting qualification such as ICAN or ACCA is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, with leadership responsibilities.
- Deep expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, cash-flow management, and Nigerian taxation.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
