Key Responsibilities- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to support the strategic goals of the company.
- Oversee financial reporting, including preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance, providing insights to optimize resource allocation.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop cost control measures and improve operational efficiency.
- Conduct financial analysis to evaluate and support business decisions related to product development, pricing, and investments.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities to enhance financial integrity and transparency.
- Oversee inventory and procurement monitoring, including market cost analysis.
- Provide immediate support and training to the finance team on identified focus areas.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the management.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven financial management experience, preferably in the food, hospitality, or retail sector.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting software, and advanced Excel.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Deep understanding of Nigerian financial regulations, taxation, and market dynamics.
