About the Role
Seven Up Bottling Company, a global leader in the beverage industry renowned for iconic brands like 7UP, is looking for a dynamic and experienced Finance Lead - Treasury to join our corporate finance team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee cash management, liquidity planning, foreign exchange exposures, and banking relationships to support our expanding operational footprint in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts, monitor actual cash flows against projections, and oversee daily cash management to ensure optimal liquidity.
- Manage treasury-related trade transactions, monitor foreign exchange exposures, and ensure all FX activities comply with regulatory requirements.
- Negotiate favorable terms for credit facilities, manage the borrowing portfolio, and ensure strict compliance with bank covenants and loan agreements.
- Serve as the primary liaison for banking partners, fostering strong institutional relationships and overseeing bank account administration.
- Prepare accurate treasury journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, and provide essential documentation for internal and external audits.
- Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant treasury accounting and cash management experience, preferably within a fast-paced manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Hands-on proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and enterprise resource planning systems such as SAP.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial risk management, debt administration, and foreign exchange market dynamics.
- Relevant professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, or ACTi serve as a strong added advantage.
