About the Role
WTS Energy, a leading manpower supply and recruitment consultancy to the global oil, gas, and energy industry, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Group Chief Financial Officer (GCFO) to join our executive team. In this strategic leadership role, you will provide comprehensive financial guidance to ensure long-term organizational sustainability, operational excellence, and robust corporate governance across our international operations spanning 16 countries.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute the organization's long-term financial strategy, leading comprehensive financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and Board based on advanced financial analysis and projections to guide investments and growth.
- Oversee global financial operations including accounting, audits, treasury, tax, and reporting to ensure strict compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor financial performance, improve profitability, optimize cost efficiency, and lead effective corrective actions when necessary.
- Establish robust internal controls, mitigate financial and operational risks, and maintain the highest standards of corporate governance.
- Manage capital-raising initiatives, optimize cash flow and liquidity planning, and build strong relationships with institutional banks and investors.
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing finance and accounting teams to support aggressive global business growth objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Recognized professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, ACA, or CFA.
- 12 to 18+ years of progressive executive experience in senior corporate finance roles within complex organizations.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, valuation, capital management, and risk mitigation.
- Advanced strategic thinking, exceptional executive presence, and superior stakeholder management abilities.
- Master's degree (MBA or MSc in Finance) is an added advantage.
