About the Role
LifeBank is a pioneering healthcare technology and logistics platform dedicated to making essential medical products, such as blood and oxygen, available when and where they are needed across Nigeria. We mobilize donations, manage critical healthcare inventory, and ensure safe, timely delivery to save lives every day. We are currently looking for a strategic and dynamic Finance Lead to join our fast-growing team in Onipan, Lagos, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and oversee all finance and accounting functions, including management accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, treasury, and financial controls.
- Prepare and present accurate monthly management accounts, business performance analysis, and detailed financial reports to the CEO.
- Drive robust management accounting by providing clear analysis of revenues, costs, margins, cash flow, and profitability to guide strategic business decisions.
- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, financial plans, and regular variance analyses.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, accounts receivable, and payables to ensure optimal financial liquidity.
- Establish, maintain, and enforce strong internal financial controls, approval systems, and compliance with Nigerian tax and regulatory requirements.
- Lead internal and external audits, ensuring complete accuracy and integrity of all financial records.
- Manage, mentor, and develop the finance team to foster high performance and clear accountability.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Professional accounting qualification such as ICAN, ACCA, or an approved international equivalent is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, with a proven track record of leading a finance function in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional expertise in management accounting, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Strong proficiency in advanced Excel, Google Sheets, and modern ERP or accounting software.
- Exceptional commercial acumen with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business strategies.
