About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and analytical Finance Intern to join our dynamic team in Lagos, Nigeria. This role offers hands-on experience in corporate finance, accounting operations, and financial reporting within a fast-paced fintech environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, journal entries, and supporting schedules
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes and financial statement preparation
- Perform routine bank, vendor, and customer account reconciliations
- Review and process expense reports, vendor invoices, and timely payments
- Conduct basic financial analysis and identify variances or trends
- Assist with documentation and compliance checks for internal and external audits
- Handle general data entry, filing, and administrative finance tasks
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
- Solid foundational understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with modern accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and high level of professional integrity
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
