About the Role
Avonix Place, a premier restaurant and luxury lounge located in the upscale Victoria Garden City (VGC) and Ajah axis of Lekki, Lagos, is seeking a dedicated and analytical Accountant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the financial health of our establishment, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and supporting our commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences. Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Reconcile daily sales, inventory, and cash flow from restaurant and lounge operations.
- Prepare accurate financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and budget reports.
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax laws, statutory remittances, and financial regulations.
- Collaborate with management to monitor operational costs and implement effective cost-control strategies.
- Maintain transparent financial records and assist with internal and external audits.
- B.Sc, HND, or OND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or any related discipline.
- Proven work experience as an Accountant, preferably within the hospitality, restaurant, or retail sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication relations for effective team collaboration.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Residency in or close proximity to VGC, Ajah, or Lekki, Lagos is an added advantage.
