About the Role
LOPTERRA is looking for a dedicated Accounting and Inventory Assistant to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, overseeing stock movements, and ensuring seamless coordination between our accounting and inventory functions.
Key Responsibilities- Process invoices, receipts, payments, and manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Monitor inventory levels, track stock movements, and perform regular reconciliations.
- Generate periodic financial summaries, depreciation entries, and stock reports.
- Conduct periodic internal audits and enforce inventory control procedures to minimize losses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Ensure strict compliance with accounting standards, regulatory filings, and company policies.
- Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or inventory management.
- Demonstrated familiarity with ERP software such as SAP, Sage, Tally, or Peachtree.
- Proficiency in stock valuation and reconciliation techniques including FIFO.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking abilities with minimal supervision required.
