Carifika Network for Sustainable Development (CNSD) Nigeria is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant (Volunteer) to join our dynamic team in Abuja. CNSD is a subsidiary of Carifika Global in Canada, dedicated to fostering harmonious and prosperous societies through health, education, peace-building, governance, and community development. Key Responsibilities- Assist the finance team in recording daily financial transactions, expenses, and revenues accurately.
- Help prepare financial reports, budgets, and project expenditure trackers.
- Maintain organized and secure physical and digital financial records, receipts, and invoices.
- Support internal financial audits and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
- Collaborate with project teams to monitor activity budgets and track resource utilization.
- Degree or ongoing studies in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping, financial accounting principles, and budget management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, high integrity, and excellent organizational skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities with a passion for community development.
