About the Role

Corus International is an ensemble of global leaders in international development and humanitarian assistance committed to ending poverty and building healthy communities worldwide. We are currently seeking a dedicated Finance and Administration Manager to lead our finance and administration team for the Traceability and Resilience in Agriculture and Cocoa Ecosystems (TRACE) Project in Ikom, Cross River State, Nigeria. In this pivotal role, you will ensure full compliance with donor regulations, local tax laws, and organizational policies while supporting the Finance and Administration Director.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage overall financial operations, including developing annual budgets, activity budgets, and monitoring project spending to ensure costs are reasonable and allowable.
  • Ensure project records are audit-ready and oversee internal and external audit procedures.
  • Oversee procurement of goods and services, sub-office leases, asset inventories, and monthly payroll in compliance with donor and organizational regulations.
  • Provide direct supervision and professional development to the Finance Assistant and Administration Officer, alongside remote support to sub-office teams.
  • Ensure timely financial reporting, fund requests, and accurate recording of transactions and tax payments.

Qualifications
  • Graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or Business Administration, accompanied by a formal top-level accounting certification.
  • 5 to 8 years of financial management and administration experience in development projects, including at least 2 years managing large US Government-funded projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of USG policies, rules, and regulations, specifically 2 CFR 200 (OMB Guidance for Grants and Agreements).
  • Demonstrated experience with accounting software, databases, and advanced Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and supervisory skills, with the ability to travel to project sites within Nigeria up to 25% of the time.
