About the Role
Plantation Industries Limited is a leading cocoa processing factory based in Akure, Ondo State, situated in the heart of Nigeria's cocoa-growing belt. As an offshoot of Agro Traders Limited, one of the nation's largest cocoa exporters, we are dedicated to transforming raw cocoa beans into world-class cocoa products for the international market. We are currently looking for a detail-oriented Accounts & Finance Professional to strengthen our finance team and support our continued operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day financial accounting operations and maintain accurate general ledger records.
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements, periodic reports, and variance analyses in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Ensure meticulous reconciliation of bank accounts, vendor accounts, and internal ledgers.
- Support internal and external audit processes by providing requested documentation and schedules.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and monitor departmental expenditure against financial targets.
- Maintain robust financial controls and ensure strict adherence to company policies and statutory tax obligations.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Active relevant professional qualification including ICAN, ACCA, CIMA, CFA, CIA, CISA, or CRMA.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience within a structured organization.
- Proficiency in accounting software systems/ERP platforms and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills with high professional integrity and sound judgment.
