About the Role
Seven Up Bottling Company, a globally recognized leader in the beverage industry, is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Analyst to join our expanding team. In this role, you will provide critical support to the Finance Manager, equipping senior executives with actionable insights for major operational, financial, and strategic decisions. You will spearhead our annual budgeting process, manage cash flow forecasts, and conduct comprehensive variance analyses to optimize our business performance across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Build financial reports communicating consolidated and practice-level performance, analyzing underlying regional trends.
- Prepare executive presentations for board meetings, shareholder sessions, and strategic leadership reviews.
- Perform variance analysis comparing historical data and forecasts against actual financial results.
- Assist with month-end close processes and collaborate with accounting to ensure accurate management reporting.
- Partner with Business Intelligence and IT teams to automate reporting systems, dashboards, and operational benchmarks.
- Evaluate the financial viability of expansion opportunities, product launches, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
- Support the Commercial Team to drive Net Sales Revenue and Gross Profit growth through strategic business planning.
- Provide robust pack profitability insights, value chain analyses, and trade discount evaluations to maximize efficiency.
- Minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in a financial planning and analysis (FP&A) department.
- Professional certification or active membership in ICAN or a similar recognized body is an added advantage.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling.
- Demonstrated experience working with major Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
