COISCO, an established indigenous oil and gas company operating in the downstream sector since 2007, is seeking a highly experienced, qualified, and results-driven Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. Key Responsibilities- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and management reports.
- Manage budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements in the Nigerian business environment.
- Strengthen internal financial controls and accounting processes.
- Monitor cash flow, treasury operations, and working capital effectively.
- Provide strategic financial insights to support executive decision-making.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop the internal accounting team.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 12 years of relevant accounting experience, with substantial background in the downstream oil and gas industry.
- Must be a fully qualified member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
- Strong proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced financial modeling.
