About the Role
Golden Bell's Multi Concepts (GBMC) Limited, a premier hospitality consulting and management firm, is seeking a dedicated and analytical Accountant to join our dynamic team in Peter Odili, Port Harcourt, Rivers State. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the financial health of our organization, ensuring accuracy in all financial reporting, and supporting strategic business decisions within the hospitality sector.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local regulatory standards.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to help management optimize financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, statutory deductions, and other financial regulations applicable to the hospitality industry in Nigeria.
- Maintain secure and organized financial records, audit trails, and documentation for internal and external reviews.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline operational costs and improve overall financial efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within the hospitality or service consulting industry.
- Professional certification or ongoing association with relevant bodies such as ICAN or ACCA is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and impeccable integrity.
