About the Role

Bridgeway Impact & Empowerment Foundation is a non-profit organisation founded in 2024 to create lasting change in vulnerable communities through education, protection, resilience, and sustainable development. We are currently seeking a motivated Finance and Admin Volunteer to support our growing humanitarian operations in Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Finance and Administration team with day-to-day financial and administrative tasks.
  • Assist with recording financial transactions, maintaining accurate supporting documentation, and organising payment vouchers.
  • Support bank reconciliations, cash records, and budget monitoring tools.
  • Assist with procurement processes, including obtaining quotations and maintaining procurement files.
  • Maintain electronic and physical filing systems for financial, procurement, and administrative documents.
  • Assist with office administration, inventory, asset records, and general logistics.
  • Ensure all processes comply with foundation policies while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of an HND or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of accounting and financial management principles.
  • Previous volunteer, internship, or work experience in finance or an NGO is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word with strong attention to detail.
  • Good organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Hausa is an added advantage.
