Key Responsibilities
  • Record daily financial transactions accurately and maintain comprehensive, well-organized accounting records.
  • Perform timely bank reconciliations and investigate and resolve any financial discrepancies promptly.
  • Process vendor invoices, payments, and client receipts while ensuring appropriate documentation is attached.
  • Assist in the preparation of accurate monthly payroll runs and compute statutory deductions correctly.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, schedules, and summaries for management review and decision-making.
  • Support internal and external audit processes by collating and providing necessary financial documentation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a closely related discipline.
  • 1 to 3 years of demonstrable accounting experience, ideally gained within a fast-paced manufacturing or FMCG setting.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and popular accounting software or ERP systems such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Tally.
  • Sound understanding of Nigerian tax laws, regulations, and statutory remittance procedures.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, high attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities.
