About the Role

Key Responsibilities- Prepare and deliver accurate monthly Profit & Loss Statements and Balance Sheets for the region.
- Manage end-to-end store accounting procedures, banking processes, and cash pickup frequencies.
- Oversee comprehensive payroll administration, ensuring full compliance with statutory labor laws and company policies.
- Liaise with external tax advisers, accountants, and auditors to meet all regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Monitor inventory results to ensure data reliability and investigate any unusual discrepancies.
- Supervise regional IT infrastructure availability and oversee general administrative functions.
- Drive cost efficiency, productivity, and profitability across all regional departments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant managerial experience in finance, accounting, or retail administration.
- Professional accounting certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with retail software like NetSuite or Retail Pro will be an added advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, financial reporting standards, and labor regulations.
