About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Account Manager to oversee the financial operations at our factory located in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. In this dynamic role, you will play a critical part in maintaining financial integrity, optimizing processes, and providing leadership to our on-site finance team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage financial data and reporting utilizing ERP accounting systems, with a strong preference for Orion experience.
- Oversee accurate collection and payment processes, ensuring timely reconciliations.
- Analyze expenses and prepare comprehensive financial reports using advanced analytical skills.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to successfully resolve queries across all financial functions.
- Ensure full compliance with local financial laws and strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Drive productivity and process digitization to streamline overall factory financial operations.
- Coordinate seamlessly with the group office and cross-functional departments as required.
- Prepare regular schedules along with weekly and monthly financial reports for the Finance Head.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the local finance team effectively.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Mandatory ICAN professional certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, preferably within the building materials, tiles, or natural stone manufacturing industry.
- Age requirement between 30 and 40 years old.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and enterprise resource planning software.
- Strong working knowledge of accounting standards, analytical frameworks, and business English.
