About the Role
Ovis Yoghurt is a leading indigenous Nigerian yogurt brand dedicated to promoting gut health through our premium, probiotic-rich products. Known for our rich, thick, and highly creamy texture, we have experienced remarkable growth across major Nigerian cities including Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt. We are currently seeking a dynamic and meticulous Finance & Accounts Officer to join our growing team in Lagos and help drive our financial operations to the next level.
Key Responsibilities- Verify and approve customer payments accurately and promptly.
- Manage comprehensive financial records, daily reconciliations, and expense tracking.
- Prepare accurate monthly revenue, profit, and loss reports for management review.
- Handle VAT, PAYE, WHT, and other statutory tax filings in compliance with regulations.
- Prepare staff payroll and generate monthly payslips efficiently.
- BSc or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 3 years of relevant professional experience in finance or accounting roles.
- Solid working knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, including VAT, PAYE, and WHT.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail, high level of integrity, and excellent analytical skills.
- Residing within or around Surulere, Lagos, to ensure an easy and reliable commute.
