About the Role
Dame Chops and Events is a dynamic and growing retail and events company based in Alimosho Bus Stop, Iyanapaja, Lagos, specializing in affordable double-padded ovens and mixers with nationwide delivery across Nigeria. We are currently looking for a sharp, analytical, and results-driven Financial Analyst to join our expanding team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping our financial strategy, optimizing operational costs, and driving profitability.
Key Responsibilities- Consolidate and analyze financial data, including budgets and income statement forecasts, aligned with company goals.
- Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce operating costs and improve overall financial performance.
- Assemble and summarize comprehensive reports on financial status, business trends, and potential risks.
- Develop robust financial models, conduct benchmarking, and perform detailed process analysis.
- Track and evaluate financial status by comparing actual operating results against established forecasts.
- Consult with management to guide and influence long-term strategic decision-making and business growth.
- Drive continuous process improvement and financial policy development initiatives.
- HND or BSc Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related fields.
- Proven professional working experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar corporate finance role.
- Proficiency in advanced spreadsheets, databases, MS Office suite, and relevant financial software.
- Strong hands-on experience with statistical analysis and financial forecasting techniques.
- Outstanding presentation, reporting, and verbal communication skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, accounting principles, money markets, and general business environments.
