About the Role
FMR Agency is looking for a strategic and results-driven Finance & Accounts Manager to lead the finance and accounting function for our client in Lagos. In this vital role, you will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, financial controls, and statutory compliance while strengthening internal processes to protect company profitability and support sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and ensure timely submission to management.
- Develop, implement, and monitor budgets while tracking actual expenditure against approved targets.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow management, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure timely statutory remittances, tax compliance, regulatory filings, and audit readiness.
- Lead and supervise the Finance & Accounts team, fostering high performance and continuous professional development.
- Utilize ERP systems and financial reporting tools to improve operational efficiency and strategic decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Professional certification such as ICAN (ACA) or ACCA is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, treasury management, and taxation.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with modern ERP systems.
- Competitive net monthly salary of ₦520,000, determined by experience.
