About the Role

Eclat HR Consulting is a progressive human resource management firm headquartered in Abuja, Nigeria, dedicated to delivering workable systems, structures, and professional solutions to clients nationwide. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Finance Accountant to join our Finance and Administration department within the dynamic petroleum and fuel station operations industry. In this role, you will report directly to the Managing Director and Finance Lead, ensuring financial integrity, accurate reporting, and efficient fiscal management to support our continued growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute comprehensive bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records across all operations.
  • Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, statements, and management accounts.
  • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable efficiently to maintain healthy cash flow.
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations and track cash flow and operational expenses.
  • Coordinate payroll administration and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors for seamless audit and documentation management.
  • Utilize accounting software and financial management systems to streamline daily financial tasks.
Qualifications
  • B.Sc., B.A., HND, or OND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 5 to 8 years of proven relevant experience as an Accountant.
  • Solid expertise in financial reporting, bookkeeping, and bank reconciliation.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using modern accounting software and financial systems.
  • ICAN, ACCA, or relevant professional certification will be a strong added advantage.
  • Prior experience in the downstream petroleum, oil and gas industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong competencies in time management, communication, financial analysis, and working under pressure.
