About the Role
Join Prixair, Nigeria's leading hospitality group, as a Filler Operator responsible for operating and monitoring advanced bottle-filling and packaging machinery. This role is critical to our production operations, ensuring every bottle meets our exceptional quality standards before reaching our valued customers across our hotels, catering services, and food establishments.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and monitor water filling machines and associated production equipment with precision
- Set up filler machinery according to specified bottle sizes and production requirements
- Ensure proper bottle positioning, filling accuracy, capping, and sealing throughout production cycles
- Monitor the filling process to detect leaks, underfilling, overfilling, damaged bottles, and faulty caps
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on fillers, cappers, conveyors, and related production equipment
- Maintain a clean, hygienic production environment complying with food and water safety regulations
- Perform basic machine adjustments and troubleshooting when operational issues arise
- Report mechanical faults and production abnormalities to maintenance and production supervisors
- Inspect finished products to verify they meet company quality standards
- Remove and document defective bottles and production discrepancies
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience in bottling or beverage production operations
- Proven expertise in operating filling machinery and production equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of food and water safety standards and regulations
- Ability to work in fast-paced production environments
