About the Role
Committed To Good (CTG) is an award-winning private sector company that enables humanitarian and development projects in conflict zones. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Team Leader, DTM (Vacancy ID: VAC-69762) to join our operations in Nigeria. In this role, you will oversee field data collection exercises, manage enumerators, and ensure the highest standards of data integrity for vital displacement tracking initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate field data collection exercises, including mobility tracking, registrations, flow monitoring points, and surveys.
- Monitor the day-to-day activities of enumerators and key informants to ensure data quality, accuracy, and adherence to timelines.
- Facilitate timely data submission using mobile data collection tools and upload finalized questionnaires to the DTM Kobo server.
- Provide capacity building and training support to enumerators and local partners on DTM methodology and tools.
- Support community engagement, mobilization, and sensitization programs in assigned locations.
- Ensure compliance with Data Protection Policy and Principles, maintaining high ethical standards and organizational codes of conduct.
- Coordinate staff deployment, logistics, and security measures with relevant partners and office management.
- Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Social Science, Geography, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of one year of experience in monitoring teams during data collection, preferably in conflict or natural disaster contexts.
- Previous experience with Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM), UN agencies, INGOs, or NNGOs is a distinct advantage.
- Proficiency in mobile data collection technologies, Kobo, and GPS usage.
- Strong knowledge of the geography, culture, and context of Yobe State, Nigeria.
- Excellent interpersonal, team management, and problem-solving skills under tight deadlines.
