About the Role
Triumph Power and Gas Systems Limited is an industry-leading energy service company delivering innovative power, oil and gas, and industrial solutions across Nigeria. We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Field Service Representative (Mechanical) to expand our technical operations in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. In this pivotal role, you will deliver expert on-site maintenance, diagnostics, overhauls, and commissioning of rotating equipment in strict accordance with global OEM standards.
Key Responsibilities- Execute on-site mechanical installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and commissioning of rotating equipment, gas compressors, and power management units strictly adhering to OEM procedures.
- Perform rapid mechanical diagnostics and corrective repairs during unscheduled customer shutdowns to minimize production downtime.
- Draft detailed technical reports, mechanical root-cause analyses (RCA), and daily progress logs to document structural interventions for clients and management.
- Enforce precise QA/QC, NEBOSH standards, and HSE safety protocols across all field tasks, eliminating mechanical and environmental hazards before initiating work.
- Conduct regular machine health checks, shaft alignment, vibration analysis, and baseline calibrations on operational field machinery.
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Marine Engineering.
- 4 to 6 years of verifiable hands-on field experience in the Nigerian oil, gas, or energy sector.
- Demonstrated OEM expertise with Waukesha engines, Cooper compressors, GE LM2500 gas turbines, Ariel, or Solar Turbines.
- Valid safety certifications including BOSIET (with HUET and EBS), NUPRC OSP, and NEBOSH IGC.
- Strong technical proficiency in laser alignment, vibration analysis, P&ID literacy, CMMS, and root cause analysis.
