In this critical logistics role, you will be responsible for optimizing our fleet performance, ensuring seamless field operations, and maintaining high service standards across all locations in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily field logistics and fleet operations across all assigned locations.
- Provide strategic direction and operational oversight to Fleet Controllers, ensuring effective deployment of commercial trucks, buses, and field resources.
- Monitor overall field operations to guarantee strict compliance with approved company processes and industry service standards.
- Ensure accurate and timely record-keeping for vehicle movements, trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and operational downtime.
- Review comprehensive fleet monitoring reports to identify operational risks, exceptions, and procedural irregularities.
- Resolve or escalate operational challenges reported by Fleet Controllers to maximize vehicle availability and efficiency.
- Coordinate seamlessly between the Head Office, field locations, internal workshops, and drivers to maintain optimal logistics flow.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven professional experience in fleet management, field operations, and logistics within the Nigerian market.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of supervising fleet controllers and drivers effectively.
