About the Role

New Incentives - All Babies Are Equal (NI-ABAE) is seeking a dedicated and passionate Field Officer to expand our life-saving operations in Niger State, Nigeria. In this vital entry-level role, you will work directly at public health clinics to enroll eligible pregnant women and mothers, ensuring infants complete their routine immunization schedules through our conditional cash transfer program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Register eligible beneficiaries at public clinics following strict organizational criteria and guidelines.
  • Disburse conditional cash transfers safely and accurately while preventing fraud or discrepancies.
  • Educate caregivers on immunization benefits, side effects, and follow-up visit dates.
  • Track vaccine supplies, report shortages daily, and monitor community health card documentation.
  • Conduct community outreach, engage local stakeholders, and track defaulters to encourage clinic attendance.
  • Maintain daily security communications with local leaders and adhere strictly to safety protocols.

Qualifications
  • Minimum qualification of SSCE, Diploma, CHEW (Community Health Extension Worker), or a related field.
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably within the NGO or public health sector.
  • Must be an indigene of the target LGA and currently reside in the operational ward.
  • Fluent in Hausa and local dialects (written and verbal).
  • Proficient in using smartphones, mobile internet, and basic digital tools for data reporting.
  • Demonstrated integrity, financial diligence, and a passion for community health and child welfare.
