About the Role
New Incentives - All Babies Are Equal (NI-ABAE) is seeking a dedicated Field Officer to expand our life-saving operations in Sokoto. In this entry-level role, you will implement conditional cash transfer programs that encourage mothers to complete vital infant immunization schedules in partnership with local health boards.
Key Responsibilities- Enroll eligible beneficiaries at public clinics using strict criteria and submit detailed logs.
- Conduct caregiver coaching, vaccine tracking, and deliver health education on immunizations.
- Engage with local stakeholders, address community barriers, and perform defaulter tracking.
- Monitor supply chains, report shortages daily, and act as a first responder for operational issues.
- Follow security protocols, conduct daily safety checks, and report incidents promptly.
- Minimum of SSCE, Diploma, CHEW, or related qualification with 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Must be an indigene of the target LGA and currently reside in the operational ward.
- Fluent in written and spoken Hausa and local dialects.
- Proficient in smartphone use, Microsoft Excel, Word, and basic data management.
- Strong passion for community health, infant mortality reduction, and financial diligence.
