About the Role
New Incentives - All Babies Are Equal (NI-ABAE) is seeking a dedicated Field Officer to join our team in Bauchi. In this impactful entry-level role, you will help expand our life-saving operations by encouraging mothers to complete their infants' immunization schedules through conditional cash transfers. You will work directly at public health clinics, enrolling beneficiaries, tracking vaccinations, and engaging with local communities.
Key Responsibilities- Enroll eligible beneficiaries at public clinics using strict criteria and manage cash disbursements safely.
- Verify vaccinations, check health cards, and deliver essential health education on immunization benefits.
- Conduct community outreach, track defaulter rates, and build strong relationships with local stakeholders and healthcare workers.
- Monitor supply-side shortages, report security incidents daily, and maintain accurate field data logs.
- Minimum of an SSCE, Diploma, or Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW) qualification.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant professional work experience, preferably within the NGO sector.
- Fluent in written and spoken Hausa and local dialects.
- Must be an indigene of the target LGA and currently reside in the operational ward.
- Proficient in smartphone usage, basic Microsoft Office tools, and managing cash transactions.
