About the Role
Moniepoint is a leading financial technology company digitising Africa’s real economy by building a comprehensive financial ecosystem for businesses. We provide payment, banking, credit, and business management tools designed to help enterprises succeed. We are currently looking for a results-driven Field Loan Collections Officer to join our dynamic team in Borno.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct extensive fieldwork by visiting defaulting borrowers at their physical business locations to drive loan repayments.
- Engage and negotiate effectively with customers to restructure or facilitate repayments in line with agreed loan terms.
- Manage collateral and asset recovery processes for defaulted loans in strict accordance with company procedures.
- Submit comprehensive daily reports on recovery activities and escalate complex cases to management.
- Maintain high levels of professionalism, empathy, and adherence to regulatory standards during all customer interactions.
- Proven professional experience in field debt recovery, loan collections, or a closely related role.
- Strong working knowledge of negotiation techniques and loan default management processes.
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English and Nigerian Pidgin.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed recovery targets in a fast-paced environment.
