About the Role
Moniepoint is a leading financial technology company digitising Africa’s real economy by building a comprehensive financial ecosystem for businesses. We are currently looking for a skilled and dedicated POS Technician to join our dynamic hardware department in Lagos, Nigeria. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless operation of our payment infrastructure, providing critical technical support, and managing terminal repair centers to empower businesses across the region.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the end-to-end repair process for Point of Sales terminals within the hardware department.
- Provide reliable second-level technical support for hardware-related issues across Linux, Android, MPOS, and Kiosk devices.
- Coordinate and oversee Terminal Repair Centers efficiently across our distribution network.
- Execute specialized repairs on PAX, Aisino, Smartpeck, and Topwise terminal models.
- Perform additional operational duties and technical assignments as delegated by the Line Manager.
- Minimum of a B.Sc. or HND in a relevant discipline.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a similar hardware maintenance or POS technician role.
- Proven technical proficiency in repairing PAX, Aisino, Smartpeck, and Topwise terminals.
- Prior experience in the Nigerian agency banking sector is a strong added advantage.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
