About the Role
MOJEC Power, a leading force in Africa's power sector and a market leader in smart metering technology, is looking for a dynamic Field Engineer to join our expanding team in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will oversee field operations, manage installation teams, and ensure seamless deployment of advanced metering infrastructure in compliance with NERC and MAP regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and schedule daily route operations, dispatching field teams efficiently based on geographic priority zones.
- Ensure proper material planning and asset accountability, managing smart meters, CTs, seals, and tools.
- Conduct quality control spot-checks on installations to guarantee compliance with NERC, utility, and manufacturer standards.
- Enforce strict safety compliance, ensuring PPE and hazard protocols are adhered to on site.
- Manage customer and stakeholder relations by resolving on-site complaints and educating customers on meter usage.
- Perform data and system management by accurately capturing GPS coordinates, serial numbers, and photos into the MDMS billing system.
- Generate comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly reports on installations, material usage, and stock control.
- BSc or HND in Electrical Engineering or related technical fields.
- Strong technical, analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proven experience in crisis management and stakeholder engagement.
