About the Role

As a Field Credit Officer in the South-South region, you will play a pivotal role in onboarding viable businesses, assessing credit applications, and ensuring healthy loan portfolio performance.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, engage, and onboard viable businesses within assigned geographical areas across Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Edo, and Rivers states.
- Drive customer account usage to ensure eligibility and optimal access to Moniepoint credit products.
- Review, analyze, and approve or decline loan requests by evaluating the 5Cs of credit, prioritizing capacity, character, and capital.
- Conduct physical site visits to evaluate business books, inventory, and turnover.
- Monitor active loan portfolios to maintain profitability, achieve gross loan targets, and minimize default rates through proactive management.
- Minimum of an OND in any business-related discipline.
- At least 2 years of proven sales experience in credit products within a financial institution.
- Demonstrable knowledge of credit risk analysis and financial evaluation.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical capabilities, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Residency in the target South-South locations with preferred locations clearly indicated on the CV.
