About the Role
Moniepoint is a leading financial technology company digitising Africa’s real economy by building a comprehensive financial ecosystem for businesses. We are currently looking for a results-driven Field Credit Officer to join our team in the North East region. In this role, you will play a vital part in onboarding viable businesses, growing our loan portfolio, and ensuring high repayment performance through rigorous credit risk assessment and physical business visitations.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, onboard, and manage viable businesses within assigned geographical areas across the North East.
- Engage customers to ensure optimal account usage and qualification for accessible fintech credit products.
- Conduct thorough credit risk analysis, reviewing and approving loan requests based on capacity, character, and capital.
- Perform physical business visitations to evaluate books, take inventory, and assess turnover.
- Monitor active loan portfolios to meet gross loan portfolio and profitability targets while minimizing default rates.
- Minimum of an OND in any business-related discipline.
- At least 2 years of proven experience selling credit products within a financial institution.
- Demonstrable knowledge of credit risk analysis and financial assessment.
- Must be resident in target locations across Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Taraba, or Yobe states.
