About the Role
Moniepoint is a leading financial technology company digitising Africa's real economy by building an innovative financial ecosystem for businesses. We are currently seeking driven Field Credit Officers across multiple locations in Lagos, including Ikeja, Ikorodu, Surulere, and Alimosho, to champion our credit solutions and empower local entrepreneurs.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, evaluate, and onboard viable businesses within your assigned Lagos district to open and actively use Moniepoint business accounts.
- Review, analyze, and approve or decline loan applications by assessing the 5Cs of credit, prioritizing capacity, character, and capital.
- Conduct thorough physical site visits to potential and active borrowers to evaluate business books, inventory, and turnover.
- Meet and exceed gross loan portfolio targets while maintaining a healthy, profitable, and low-default loan portfolio.
- Monitor active loan performance and provide proactive recommendations to management before and after loan disbursement.
- Minimum of an OND in any business-related discipline.
- At least 2 years of proven sales experience with credit products in a recognized financial institution.
- Strong knowledge of credit risk and financial analysis with meticulous attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills combined with high resilience.
- Must reside in Lagos State within the specified target locations and indicate your preferred area.
