About the Role
Moniepoint is a leading financial technology company digitizing Africa's real economy by building a comprehensive financial ecosystem for businesses. We provide payment, banking, credit, and business management tools that empower merchants to succeed. We are currently looking for a dynamic and dedicated Field Credit Officer to join our growing team in Imo, playing a crucial role in expanding our credit offerings and maintaining a healthy, profitable loan portfolio across the region.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and onboard viable businesses within your assigned geographical area to open business accounts with Moniepoint.
- Engage customers to ensure optimal account usage, helping them qualify for access to tailored credit products.
- Review, analyze, and make informed decisions on loan requests by evaluating available data and the 5Cs of credit.
- Conduct physical site visits to potential and active borrowers for business evaluation, inventory checks, and turnover assessment.
- Meet and exceed gross loan portfolio and profitability targets while actively minimizing default rates.
- Monitor active loan portfolios to ensure continuous account usage and timely loan repayments.
- Minimum of an OND in any business-related discipline.
- At least 2 years of proven experience in credit sales within a financial institution.
- Demonstrable knowledge of credit risk analysis and financial assessment.
- Apt attention to detail with strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
