About the Role
TeamAce Limited is seeking a results-driven and proactive Field Credit Officer to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining financial health by managing credit portfolios, conducting field visits, and driving effective loan recovery strategies while upholding professional customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular field visits to customers for credit monitoring and recovery of delinquent loan accounts.
- Engage customers professionally to assess repayment capacity and negotiate feasible repayment plans.
- Monitor active loan accounts and diligently follow up on repayment commitments to ensure compliance.
- Accurately document all field activities, customer engagements, and recovery outcomes on approved company systems.
- Identify high-risk and non-performing loan accounts, escalating issues promptly in line with established procedures.
- Ensure all credit administration and recovery activities strictly comply with internal policies, CBN regulations, and applicable laws.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- 1 to 2 years of proven experience in credit operations, loan recovery, or a similar role within a financial institution or Microfinance Bank.
- Sound knowledge of credit administration, risk management, and loan recovery processes.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to handle diverse customer profiles.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple accounts efficiently, and meet assigned performance targets.
